Flight Explorer Announces New Offering To Enhance Customer Service,
Flight Explorer VIP Advisor

Alexandria, Va.– December 15, 2004 – Do you want to give your clients a real-time update on the status of aircraft carrying their personnel or cargo? Flight Explorer has the answer.

Flight Explorer, the world's most trusted and accepted provider of Internet-based, real-time global flight tracking information, reporting and display products, today announced the arrival of Flight Explorer VIP Advisor, a service that any aviation-related company can use to send a personalized email automatically to a client(s) that includes a link to a graphic display of an aircraft’s location.

After a user enters a few pieces of information including a flight number, flight time and client’s email address, Flight Explorer VIP Advisor automatically sends an email with a link to a customized web page, allowing the recipient to track their flight of interest. The easy-to-use graphical interface allows the user to set up one or even hundreds of emails to be sent automatically upon an aircraft’s departure, arrival or a specific number of minutes prior to departure or arrival. This gives Flight Explorer customers a way of providing clients with updated flight information and enhanced customer service.

Walt Kross, CEO of Flight Explorer, said, “Automating the aircraft tracking function with a simple email or two will save time and money for customers while giving them a powerful customer service tool that their clients will appreciate. We are very excited to offer this value-added service to our customers.”

Specific use examples include:

• Charter operators or fixed-base operators (FBOs) can preempt a flurry of phone calls on whether a particular aircraft has arrived by sending an email on the plane’s status to interested parties through VIP Advisor.
• Air ambulance operators can let the hospital and family members know when to expect a patient to arrive and provide them with a way to track the flight.
• Air cargo carriers can provide customers with real-time updates on the status of their shipment.

Flight Explorer is the maker of Flight Explorer Professional, the easiest, most robust and reliable aircraft situation display in the industry. With only a personal computer and Internet access, commercial users and others providing aviation services can use Flight Explorer to track aircraft anywhere in the world through a variety of methods including IFR in the U.S., Canada, and UK; more extensively in New Zealand and the Pacific Oceanic region; and any aircraft worldwide via Honeywell GDC datalink, ACARS, or Iridium/GPS. Flight Explorer Professional updates aircraft positions every minute and refreshes screen views every 10 seconds.
